@damoiseau1671137 à une époque, j'utilisais RSS quotidiennement, et puis Twitter est venu le remplacer (c'était il y a longtemps, je l'ai quitté il y a pile 3 ans). Et depuis, je fais sans. Il faut dire que la machine de mon employeur est pénible et refuse l'usage de plein d'applis.

While reading Peter Wohlleben’s The Hidden Life of Trees, I noticed something delightful(about 88 pages so far) almost every scientist mentioned so far is a woman. My heart feels happy seeing women simply being curious about the world.
It made me think about what I find so beautiful about women in science which is their curiosity about the quiet, overlooked parts of the world. Be it roots beneath the soil, fungi connecting trees & the invisible relationships that hold an ecosystem together.

Shared infrastructure is how the #Fediverse can grow without recreating enshittified platform silos.
We’re excited to share that Bonfire is working with Mastodon on two critical areas of Fediverse infrastructure: remote media storage and automated content detection.
Built around open Fediverse Auxiliary Service Provider (FASP) specifications, this work will help platforms connect to shared services instead of each having to build and operate the same capabilities alone.
Our aim is to make these capabilities open, interoperable, and available for any federated server to adopt.
A big thank you to @Mastodon@mastodon.social team for involving us in this work. We’re looking forward to building together and sharing what we learn along the way.

It appears like a game because the game is actually a scam, and the scam is the driver of play.
I don't have as clear of a scam test, but its something like:
- is limiting the amount of play the primary challenge of the game?
- are there geometrically scaling quantities, like a crafting or item ranking mechanism, that produces a Shepard's tone treadmill?
- are there multiple counters that function like currency, and can they be exchanged for one another?
- if multiple, there is at least one currency whose means of gaining it is regulated by a) real world time, and b) play time
- are any of the above remedied by paying real money?
- is there a leaderboard/social element? If so, is the multiplayer gameplay implausible? Are the social mechanisms indistinguishable from if all the other players were fictional and there was simply no means of connecting multiple players ?
Most scam games are scams but not games. There are some scam games that are both scams and games. There are no scam games that are games but not scams, because then they are just games. LLM games are the otherwise unoccupied member of the quartet: scam games that are neither games nor scams.
Good idea or bad: a small cheap device, for reclaiming spaces from invasive #surveillance tech such as #Meta's pervert glasses.
When brought close enough to said device, selected tech gets blocked or bricked making the space free once again.

That could be implemented with a "mal-functioning" Wifi card that spouts EM noise at high volume. Maybe directional noise would be smarter.
Or should a 4G/5G signal be blocked instead?
Fairly sure meta glasses have smol battery and aerial capacity, so not much spread spectrum support would be needed, although tuning to the relevant channel in use now would be.
